Punk in Malaga
and COLLECTOR’S SERIES DIY, any more than a record label underground.
Musicians
wanting to do different things and originated in the late 70s, cemented the
origins of malacitano punk, among punk bands & "new wave" in this
spirit we can mention Adrenalina or Sociedad Anonima, seminal bands

even a project and compilation album, which makes reference to the allegorical
alternative and transgressive move of the capital of the Costa del Sol,
included in the philosophy "Do it yourself" with designation of Collector's Series. The first volume is
titled “The Incredibles Stories About As The Punks Came From Outer X-pain, Iberian
Rock Cities, Collector's Compilation Vol I” (split album limited edition
1000 copies). In this record published by record label and bands own of garage-punk
scene of Andalucía (South Spain), appear bands like Toxic Womb, Smoking Victims,
Sado After Dead, Mr. Moto, Dirty Sanches, Bodega Canibal,
Devil's Dandruff, Hairy Nipples, Icarus Crash or MG15 (in
the early 80s called as Slips &
Sperma). With important foreign collaborations, such as the participation
of the current project of Silvia Escario
member of Ultimo Resorte (scene 80s
of Barcelona), called Algo Toxico;
the legendary punk garage Portuguese band Clockwork
Boys; Biscayans urban rock band Salamandras,
and nu metal with reminiscent of melodic hardcore of Asturian band Zurdha.
In
the area of the Axarquia (Province
of Malaga), they have
appeared bands like Not Only Punk, Me Voy Ke Me Estoy Kagando or Running With Scissors. Subsequently,
there will be a second volume entitled "The Beauty Full Monsters, Collector's
Compilation Vol. II" (split album limited edition 700 vinyl and
1000 CD copies) and many events promoted by the group, distro Collector's Series and related
employees to self-management and philosophy DIY where intervene historical

In
the summer of 2013, volume III Collector's
Series (Malaga, Spain), in collaboration with labels as Malditos Vinilos (Asturies) and Ediciones Tercer Mundo of Chile (South
Of America), along with media partners such as La
Factoría Del Ritmo
(Cantabria), Sancocho Musical Webzine
(Canary Islands) and The Noise Hour
Radio Show (Canary Islands), appeared through participation in
co-publishing and promotion of "It's Only Punk. Collector's
Compilation Vol. III" (split album limited edition 250 copies on
vinyl). Participating bands were Enterradores
(Álora / Pizarra - Malaga)
contributed four specially selected songs from their second demo "Trabajo
Acumulado". The Castro
Zombies & The Mutant Phlegm (Malaga),
did the same with two previously unreleased tracks, plus two remixes extracted
from album also split "Colleccion de Kretinos Vol.1".
Sex Fürers (Seville)
also chose four songs from his album CD "Una, Grande y Zombie" and
to end such a pleasant collaborations and this good selection of artists and
themes, Algo Tóxico and Familia Cretina from Catalonia, who contributed two totally
unpublished sound bombs until editing. The plastic was mastered by musician and
sound technician Salva Martinez (La
Pila Punk) and design and artwork, both the diptych
folder as the insert, was performed by MB
Neave. This third volume, closes the collection begun by Collector's Series of 2008, seeing off
in 2009 with the publication of the first volume and just two years later, in
2011, resulting in the second edition.
Collector's Series DIY, has intervened in the distribution, production, co-publication, launch, promotion and dissemination many more reference, reaching more than fifty reference today.

Málaga, orígenes e influencias y COLLECTOR’S SERIES DIY, algo más que
un sello discográfico underground.
Músicos con ganas de hacer cosas distintas y
origen en finales de los 70, cimentaron los orígenes del punk malacitano, entre
las bandas punk & "new
wave" con este espíritu podemos citar a Adrenalina o Sociedad
Anónima, bandas seminales de proyectos de pop rock de los 80 como los
grupos Cámara y Danza Invisible. En los 80, aparecieron bandas como Deskarriados (con otros miembros
formaron antes Fredy Nurky y Komando Suicida), Excomunión, Mucho Morro,
DDT, Desamparados En Guirilandia, Capitán
Kaverníkola, liderada por Ramone
que terminaría haciendo portadas e interviniendo como músico colaborador en
proyectos de Extremoduro en los 90, a partir del final de la
década de 2000, Ramone reaparece con un nuevo proyecto llamado Superlumpen. Posteriormente, desde principios o mediados de los 90 y hasta bien entrada la década de 2000, irían apareciendo formaciones con interesantes propuestas como: Rotten Heads, 12 Aullidos, 3 De Bastos, Kataplasma, The Endrogaos, No Picky, Airbag, Kausas Sociales, Malakalaña, La Pila Punk, Enterradores, Kmorra, Smoking Victims, La Plaga, Jarrea, The Castro Zombies & The Mutant Phlegm, Víktima O Verdugo, Peste Y
Mierda, Pankomio o Peligro Sozial. Incluso, hay un
proyecto y disco recopilatorio, que hace referencia alegórica a la movida más
alternativa y transgresora de la capital de la Costa del Sol, englobada en la filosofía
"Hazlo tú mismo" (Do It
Yourself) con denominación de Collector's
Series DIY.
El primer volumen se titula “The
Incredibles Stories About As The Punks Came From Outer X-pain. Iberian
Rock Cities, Collector's Compilation Vol. I” (álbum compartido de
edición limitada a 1000 copias en vinilo). En dicho disco autoeditado por las
propias bandas de la escena más garage y punk del Sur, aparecen bandas como: Toxic
Womb, Smoking Victims, Sado After Dead, Mr. Moto, Dirty Sánches, Bodega Caníbal,
Devil's Dandruff, Hairy Nipples, Icarus Crash o MG15 (en los comienzos de los
80 Slips & Sperma). Sin olvidarnos, de importantes colaboraciones foráneas,
como la participación del actual proyecto de Silvia Escario de Último
Resorte (escena barcelonesa 80s), llamado Algo Tóxico; la legendaria banda de garage punk lusa, Clockwork Boys; los vizcaínos del rock
urbano, Salamandras y el nu metal
con reminiscencias del hardcore melódico de los asturianos Zurdha.
En la zona de la Axarquía, han ido
apareciendo bandas como Not Only Punk,
Me Voy Ke Me Estoy Kagando o Running With Scissors. Posteriormente,
habrá un segundo volumen titulado "The Beauty Full Monsters, Collector's
Compilation Vol. II" (álbum compartido de edición limitada a 700
copias en vinilo y 1000 copias en CD) y multitud de actos promovidos por el
colectivo, distro Collector's Series
y colaboradores afines a la autogestión y filosofía DIY en donde intervendrán
bandas históricas no solo de la tierra boquerona, sino que contará con una
buena selección de bandas garage, hard y punk rock de Andalucía, repartidos
entre las provincias de Sevilla, Málaga y Cádiz. Además, quedaron plasmadas en
el disco colaboraciones de lujo, como la de Sherpa, que se alió con Johnny
B. Nasty de Barna o Advermix de
Murcia de otras escenas, que al igual que en el primer volumen quisieron
sumarse al espíritu más visceral del invento. Trabajo de pura arqueología
musical, como es el caso de la recuperación de las demos de la escena punk
gaditana de Los Makarras, Chupa Der Buka, y Txuminos Imberbes. En la escena más extrema, Staydown de la escena HC del Sur peninsular. En total 16 grupazos
de buen ROCK con mayúsculas en sus diferentes concepciones y propuestas
musicales que se suman a los actos promovidos por la distro y sello Collector's Series con epicentro en
Málaga: Advermix (Heavy Metal,

En el verano de 2013, el volumen III de Collector's Series (Málaga, Andalucía),
que en colaboración con sellos como Malditos
Vinilos (Asturies) y Ediciones Tercer
Mundo de Chile, junto a medios colaboradores como La
Factoría del Ritmo
(Cantabria), Sancocho Webzine Musical
(Canarias) y The Noise Hour Radio Show
(Canarias), apareció gracias a la participación en la coedición y promoción de "It's
Only Punk. Collector's Compilation Vol. III" (álbum compartido de
edición limitada a 250 copias en vinilo). Las bandas participantes fueron Enterradores (Álora/Pizarra - Málaga)
aportaron cuatro temas especialmente seleccionados de su segunda maqueta "Trabajo
Acumulado", The Castro
Zombies & The Mutant Phlegm (Málaga), hicieron lo propio con dos temás
inéditos, más dos remezclas extraídas del álbum también split "Colección
de Kretinos Vol.1". Sex
Fürers (Sevilla) también eligieron cuatro temas de su álbum CD "Una,
Grande y Zombie" y para culminar tan gratas colaboraciones y esta
buena selección de artistas y temas, Algo
Tóxico y Familia Cretina desde
Cataluña, que aportaron dos bombazos sonoros totalmente inéditos hasta el
momento de la edición. El plástico fue masterizado por el músico y técnico de
sonido Salva Martínez (La
Pila Punk) y el diseño y artwork, tanto de la carpeta
díptica, como del insert, fue realizado por MB Neave. Este tercer volumen, cierra la colección iniciada por Collector's Series sobre 2008, viendo
sus frutos en 2009 con la edición del primer volumen y justo, dos años después,
en 2011, con la consiguiente edición del segundo.
Posteriormente, Collector's Series DIY ha intervenido en la distribución, producción, coedición, lanzamiento, promoción y difusión de muchas más referencias, llegando a sobrepasar, a día de hoy más de medio centenar de referencias.
