The Reinfected are established on the Costa Del Sol as an “old school” punk band, playing tribute to the original punk rock secene, and playing a variety of early punk rock favourites, typically the period of 1976 – 1979.

Their set is lively and features songs from bands such as Sex Pistols, Clash, Damned, Ramones, Buzzcocks, Stiff Little Fingers, Undertones, Talking Heads, Sham 69, Johnny Thunders, New York Dolls, Penetration, Wire, Joy Division and many more.

The DC Spectres are a unique two piece band playing current garage trash, surf and roll. Currently playing many gigs throughout the UK. Their current album was produced by Rat Scabies of The Damned, and their forthcoming album is also to be produced by Rat Scabies.

Mr. DC himself has previously toured with Rat Scabies and Brian James from The Damned as vocalist, performing The Damned songs.

Special Guest:  Appearance by Paul Panic of The Accused. In 1978, Martin (The Reinfected) and Paul Panic formed The Accused. The Accused are famed for their Mell Square Musick ep which was recently voted number 14 worldwide in the DIY Punk Record collectors chart by Record Collector magazine.

The Accused are featured in a number of documentary dvd’s, compilation albums and their own catalogue of recordings. Their history is also featured in the book “I Thought Solihull Was For Snobs". Now reformed again with some original members, they are currently gigging in the UK, regularly supporting bands such a The Members, Vibrators, UK Subs, The Lurkers to name a few.

The event also celebrates the release of The Accused new album “They Should Have Had Red Hair” and the night will feature a guest appearance by Paul Panic (vocals) performing the title track to the album with The Reinfected.

Record Collector's Series DIY will have a merchandise stall. There may be other DC Spectre and Accused merchandise available in limited amounts.

The event will feature an old school punk /reggae disco feel inbetween the live music.
There is a raffle planned to win an event commemorative prize or two.

Event starts from 21:00 hr
It is FREE ENTRANCE and open to everyone.

It also celebrates the Birthday of Martin (The Reinfected) and Southern City belle (The DC Spectres)
